a rocky base sounds gold, are you going to include his hammer?
Nice to see this done! the work on the base is a nice touch. congrats!
that looks so much more awesome now! i like the buffness level :) and it's so true, he looks like a bmuscular malkovich.
really nice way of bulking out form, the lines are really awesome.
Hi Peter, from the looks of it, the entire body can be in one mold, and the hands be in separate molds, this could save you some silicone if you keep the walls just tight enough.
if there is a gun or weapon, you can try casting that first, since it's smaller and easier. cos like the previous posters said, casting is a volatile art.
that looks wicked, are these your own line of designer toys?
ooo, this is lookin interesting, congratulations on being a newly wed :) my crit is, his head is sorta round and bullish, i'd recommend stronger and thicker neck muscles, that way his body looks as butch as his face,
my 2cs, cheers!
the sculpt is lookin good, nice natural gesture :) casting is fun and it's a nice feeling to get copies of your sculpt. but it should be about having the experience itself, haha. i'm not sure how sellable it's gonna be, that pretty much depends on how awesome the final sculpt is.
that is looking sick man, reminds me of the inside out baby disease. super freaky.
you should add an umbilical cord as well, that why it can sell the buoyancy idea more.
painted pics are up guys :)

Can finally wrap this project up :) i really had a good time and a great learning curve on casting. I hope you guys enjoyed the pics.
look forward to more from me and cheers!
i think the idea of taking off the skull hat is a good one. skull on the shoulder is much much cooler. and man, you are so lucky to get to attend SDCC. oh the envy!
@Rick, thanx man for your kind words :) and yeah i do dust the mold with some talcum powder, but i think withour a decompressor i can't get rid of bubbles 100%.
